CEO, Dr. Morgan Stanton, PhD
Dr. Stanton is the Founder of Opal. She is a seasoned drug discovery leader and former Director of Discovery Biology at Herophilus with experience in organoid models and disease phenotyping.
She has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and completed her Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Germany.

Advisor, Dr. Aabid Shariff, PhD
Dr. Shariff has numerous patents and publications with a key focus in Generative AI for DNA/protein sequence design and Image-based phenotyping.
He has spent more than a decade working in the biotech industry leading several teams at start-ups with successful exits and at Fortune 500 companies.

Advisor, Dr. Matteo A. Molè PhD
Dr. Molè is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University.
He is a member of the Division of Reproductive, Stem Cell and Perinatal Biology, as well as the Dunlevie Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center for Discovery, Innovation and Clinical Impact.

Advisor, Carolyn Kreuzkamp, MBA
Carolyn has a decade of experience commercializing healthtech in the U.S. and E.U. She has supported biotech startups in women’s health to gain early traction and market visibility.
Her MBA is in Healthcare Operations, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship from UNC Chapel Hill.

Alexia holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and currently serves as an advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck. Previously, as a biotech COO, she spearheaded strategic corporate partnerships that successfully raised over $40+ million in start-up funding.

Advisor, Dr. Scott Lundeen, PhD
Dr. Lundeen was Head of the Reproductive Therapeutic Discovery Team at Johnson & Johnson and has spend 17+ years at the J&J Innovative Medicine Business Development.
He has executed deals for programs from all stages of discovery and development - target identification through Phase 3 trials.

Dr. Neel is a seasoned biotech advisor with deep insight into the organoid and advanced cell model landscape. He brings experience from his tenure at Neuralink, where cutting-edge biological interfaces and regenerative systems were developed, and currently advises family offices on life sciences investments.
His expertise spans both the technical and strategic sides of biotech.

Advisor, Dr. Hugh Taylor, MD, PhD
Dr. Taylor is Prof. of Reproductive Sciences as well as Prof. of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at Yale School of Medicine.
He has decades of experience treating patients with endometriosis and fibroids and has served as president of the Society for Reproductive Investigation.
